What is coffee milling?
Coffee milling is the dry-processing stage in which parchment coffee is transformed into clean green coffee through processes such as hulling, cleaning, grading and sorting.
What is the difference between wet milling and dry milling?
Wet milling generally refers to processing freshly harvested coffee cherries through pulping, fermentation, washing and drying.
Dry milling occurs later, after coffee has been dried and is in parchment form. It prepares the coffee for the green-coffee market.
